Laurel Place-Boyd is the wife of our late founder, Don Boyd. With her background in food ingredient sales, marketing & customer service, along with her degree in Food Science she is a great resource for our customers and suppliers. 

Suzi Benedict joined Boyd Brokerage in 2007 and had the privilege of training under Don Boyd. Her common sense, industry knowledge and problem-solving skills make her a very value  member of our team. 

Robbie was raised on California's Central Coast, where he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and agriculture. He spent his summers working on his family's vineyard and almond orchard in the Central Valley, experiences that instilled a strong work ethic and lasting connection to the agricultural community.

He earned a degree in Agricultural Communications from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and has built a career that combines his agricultural roots with experience in ingredient sales. 

Robbie enjoys building meaningful relationships and helping clients find solutions that meet their unique needs.

Robbie lives with his wife, Allie, their daughters, Sophie and Hannah, their Great Dane, Luna.

Tami Benedict joined Boyd Brokerage in  2013 and is our Marketing & Customer Service Coordinator.  With her degree in Journalism she is the mastermind behind our marketing and newsletters. She also really loves cats and dogs to the point that she volunteers for a local animal rescue.

Don Boyd founded Boyd Brokerage in 1984.  In addition to providing our customers with exceptional products and unparalleled service, Don shared his leadership, guidance and business wisdom with food manufacturers throughout Northern California. In July 2013, Don sadly lost his battle with lung cancer. Don's passion for servicing our customers still guides us to this day with our manta “What would Don Do?"
